Behind patternforkids.com is Alessia Altimari , an experienced fashion designer with almost 30 years of experience in the fashion industry. My heart beats for creative designs that not only look beautiful, but are also suitable for everyday use, comfortable and easy to sew.

Inspired by Aenne Burda – An idea becomes reality

My professional career began in the fashion capital of Rome , where I graduated from the renowned Academy of Clothing and Fashion Design. After working at Trussardi in Milan and as a pattern designer for children's clothing at Aenne Burda GmbH, my vision matured: to establish my own label for high-quality, modern patterns for baby and children's fashion .

The legendary Aenne Burda , who revolutionized the fashion world with her sewing patterns, was a great source of inspiration for me. She proved that self-sewn clothes can be stylish, individual and affordable. My mission is to carry on this philosophy and to help modern parents sew unique clothes for their children .
